The collection COMPAGNIE MARTIN TAMPICO was created in Dordogne in a family company, J.Martin Trépointes Company. Throughout its story, this company knew how to innovate, initially specialized in the production of welts
(small strips used for the manufacturing of shoes) which remains the privilege of some rare famous brands of shoes. It seemed evident that its know-how had to apply to a range of

objects of decoration, boxes, baskets, magazine racks and pieces of luggage. With the standard Basket TRAFFIC, presenting distinctive, functional, aesthetic elements associating natural leather and the cotton declined in 15 colours, which obtained from its creation a loud success,
The COMPAGNIE MARTIN (TAMPICO) adventure begins. The BEACH BAG, the big basket comes then ,weekend bag , smart and relaxed, for the beach, the countryside. Then, the natural linen will become a key material of COMPAGNIE MARTIN (TAMPICO) in particular with the GARDEN BAG, the favourite bag of the garden lovers …but not only because it is regularly seen in the city

Fabriqué 100% en France TAMPICOBAGS® est une collection de sacs au sein de notre entreprise familiale traditionnelle Française JMartin Trépointes dans l’industrie de cuir. C’est en 1992 que Nicole Martin crée et lance une ligne de bagagerie, appliquant le haut savoir faire de l’entreprise pour élaborer une collection de sacs aux formes pures dans de belles matières naturelles. C’est le début de l’aventure TAMPICOBAGS.

C’est avec sa fille Julie Martin designer,que les modèles sont mis au point et fabriqués dans les ateliers en Dordogne.

TAMPICOBAGS est le symbole d’un art de vivre à la française chic, élégant ou urbain avec ses cabas et grands sacs colorés synonyme de week-end à la mer ou à la campagne.

Deux collections sont présentées tous les ans dans diﬀérents salons internationaux comme Maison et Objet à Paris et depuis 2009 sur le site Tampicobags.com.

TAMPICOBAGS fait le tour du monde, dans un style casual, intemporel simple et épuré.

Our Story 100% Made in France TAMPICOBAGS® is a collection of bags in our family business, J.Martin Trépontes sarl, specialized in the manufacture of welts, these little notched leather straps used and used in the manufacture of shoes.
