Sometime, kick trigger are definitely the best solution. Sometime, the metronome is also the best option to play live.
But sometime, you want to try something different because you think it is for the best considering the shape of the music. And for this gig, I have chosen to go with kick microphone only, with a custom bass drum head made to make the sound still full of attack !

Leaving tour to complete my duties with after tonight show in London. Not sure I processed all the feelings and exactly realized what was going on, all happened super fast ! Blistering fast ! I am honored to have been a part of this tour, and I did my best to perform and play the greatest I can. Don’t forget you have 3 drum cam to watch on YouTube, including one !
