There are still some places left in our Mixing and Mastering 1 online course starting next week at ONO ED - our online DJ, Live Performance and Studio Production school !

This 12-hour training course is aimed at those who have created music and wonder why the end result doesn't sound like the songs of their favorite artists!

Through practical examples, theory, as well as three multi-track projects that you will mix and get feedback on, Jan Pienkowski will guide you through the step by step process and techniques used by mixing and mastering engineers today.

We now have a dedicated school component to our label ! ONO ED is an online DJ, Live Performance and Studio Production school. Founded by Jan Pienkowski (Jan Pienkowski (Artist Page) ), ONO ED is the new home for the courses he has been teaching at the SAT for the past 17 years.

Our Facebook and Soundcloud launch wouldn't be complete without a new release!

First released on CKUT 90.3 FM's Modular Systems FM compilation in 2004, Magog finally finds its way to the ONO Records family. Magog is an Eastern Townships city in Quebec, Canada, situated on the border of Lake Memphremagog - a lake where Jan spent many of his summers. During his visits, Jan made a series of recordings that have made their way into some of his productions. Magog in particular features processed recordings of waves hitting his favourite dock on the lake (at the foot of Owl's Head), Nord Modular bass and beats, and some chopped up guitar work to lead the proceedings.

This release is available as a "free / pay what you want" release over the holidays before it finds its way into all your favourite stores in 2014. Enjoy :)
