Update: Activist Harrison Gwamnishu Has Been Remanded In Benin Prison

Note: The entire issue started after he was accused of diverting part of a payment meant to help free a pregnant woman and her husband in Edo State.

The family says the money was said to be incomplete by the abductors, which led to only the woman returning home.

Gwamnishu insists he’s innocent, saying he never touched the money and was only trying to help.
