Every garments is meticulously realized to celebrate the Roman history and its inherent codes.
The models walked down the runway like emperors showing off dresses like tunics and trains like cloaks, in a futuristic atmosphere to always keep an eye on the forthcoming times.
Once again, Fendi is eternal as the city is.

Starting from the maison’s archive, Kim Jones designed a dreamy collection for men, trying to mix historical looks and the new American street style.
The result is sensational, with blazers and coats celebrating the great work of Christian Dior, and the use of leopard as well.
In the background a display shows a piece of paper taken by the novel “On the road” by Jack Kerouac, which inspired Jones so much in his creations.
Looking forward to a fresh new look, Dior men shows the future of fashion, with a romantic touch in models’ hands: roses and flowers to not forget the origins of brand.

Anatomy of Couture: this is the name Pierpaolo Piccioli chose for his collection presented this week in Paris.
A romantic and passionate story taking place in such a fascinating location as Place Vendôme is; diversity is the key word to understand how to perceive the real beauty.
The different shapes and sizes of the bodies are not a limit but a sensational starting point from which the designer can imagine its creations.
It’s not about your weight, your age, your origins or your imperfections. It’s about learning to love what’s different because we’re all human beings, none of us is flawless.
This is the lesson, obviously taught through the power of fashion. Watch and learn.

The French maison took some iconic looks on the runway, giving freedom to imagination and pleasing everyone’s tastes.
Bold shoulders, refined tailleurs, glitters, furs and feathers for a confident woman, strong and at the same time sexy and feminine.
Lust but not least, Giuseppe Zanotti joined the brand for this collection, designing shiny boots and sparkling heels.
Vauthier’s couture is fascinating and chic as well, a brand new desire for the upcoming season.

Daniel Roseberry, who in the last years finally gave to Schiaparelli a new and magnificent life, recently spent a lot of his time thinking about the hard times we’re living through.
He figured out the Earth became such as surrealistic as his thoughts because the whole world had fallen in a total chaos. So he realized hope was hidden behind the sky, where a new woman was starting to breathe. She’s half alien and half goddess and she’s also able to walk down here.
Only three colours for the mission, black, white and gold.
Edgy forms, sculptured bodies through the silhouettes, wide volumes and showy accessories and the dream comes true.
Schiaparelli is back from another dimension.

𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰 : 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

According to Maria Grazia Chiuri, the main purpose of this collection was to exalt the craftsmanship. That’s the reason why the silhouettes are so simple and essential.
No extra volumes or super long gowns, but short and medium garments that show the skillful and clever realization of every single piece. The embroidery is the main character of the story.
A very soft palette of colours was employed to strengthen their message; ecru turns into ivory and suddenly into grey (Christian Dior’s favorite), black touches and silver and gold to make it glamorous.
Also Peter Philips did a great job giving birth to a special but easy make up; he reinvented the classic eyeliner changing the tone from black to white to give a shining light to the looks.
So these are the ingredients for the perfect potion and Dior knows best : less is always more.

Some artists when they pass away leave a great void in our hearts.
Exactly as Thierry Mugler did.
He died at 73, a few days ago, after a successful life, surrounded by the blinding lights of fashion, that have always inspired him and his excellent work.
He was a visionary and an absolute genius, able to show the art of transformation through fashion.
The “femme fatale” was his ideal woman, scary and dangerous at the same time with a great sense of humour, and he perfectly succeeded in turning her into everything his mind was able to see.
May your revolution be an indelible mark forever.
