Not just talking more—but connecting more.

It’s about listening to understand, asking questions that matter, and being fully present.
The goal isn’t to impress, it’s to relate.
Every convo is a chance to grow.
One real conversation at a time.

Trying to get better at conversations, not just small talk.
Less “weather’s nice today,” more “what brings you joy?”
Learning to really listen, not just wait for my turn to speak.
It’s a work in progress, but it’s already making my connections feel deeper and more real.

Also me: forgets what I was saying mid-sentence
But seriously—asking better questions, listening more, and not panicking when there’s a pause?
Turns out that’s the real secret to not sounding like a robot at social events.

Today I choose to be extra grateful. Even if things aren’t perfect, I know I have many good things in my life! Help me to see the small and big blessings in my life. Please help me focus on what I have, not what I don’t. Thank you for everything.

Happy Monday Insta!

When I say life has been lifing! I have been an absolute legend, and I will toot my own horn because why not?! From swimming lessons , to football training, to science fair, to book look, to poetry competition, to choir practise, to a broken down car, to taking public transport, to household chores, to wash day AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF….a sick toddler over the weekend ! 😰

Yep. Life has been lifing!

On a brighter note it’s my birthday tomorrow, so God willing I’ll have a lovely day.

“Mummy we’re all dressed up as white people.”
I meeaannn…she’s not wrong. Eden-Grace is growing up so fast and noticing things that I hadn’t even thought about. Tbh this year we all squeezed into old costumes because mama is tryna save her coins.
Next year we’ll definitely be representing our culture, history and heritage.

Anyway….
