Sick Love Presents is a 4 part print project offering insight into underground creative scenes in Europe, platforming those at the forefront of artistic and social development in their respective cities.

A place of distinctive character, Leipzig has acquired an impressive creative scene for a smaller city. Although facing some opposition, young creatives are carving out a space for themselves and reshaping Leipzig from within, continuing the city’s tradition of cultural innovation and showcasing modes of creativity that are both radical and community orientated.

Sick Love Presents:

The work of Sasha Kurmaz is centered around the city. He interacts with public space through intervention, photography and graffiti, capturing moments of revelry and inserting himself and his art into the cityscape.

SICK LOVE PRESENTS: KYIV now available to order - link in bio!

Sick Love Presents is a 4 part print project offering insight into underground creative scenes in Europe, platforming those at the forefront of artistic and social development in their respective cities.

Over a month before the release of this project, Putin launched a barbaric and unprecedented attack on Ukraine. This print celebrates the vibrance of Ukrainian culture and the strength of its people. All profits from this publication will be donated to Ukrainian LGBTQ+ and feminist NGO

Out of all the cities visited, Kyiv offered us the most unfamiliar - and thus enthralling - cultural experience. Everyday was a bombardment, a visual and sensory overload experienced through the cold beauty and verve of the city.

ALL 4 ZINES ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO PREORDER!

Creating this project has led us to discover cities, cultures, and creatives that have not only inspired us but opened our eyes to the magnitude of thriving communities outside of our own spaces and the incredible work they produce.

Sold as a set and individually, this project explores the work and livelihoods of 3 artists from each location in the hope of platforming the best of the city's underground artists and uncovering the versatility and vibrance of each location and its creative cultures.

Over the next few months, we will be releasing information about all artists involved, and exploring their practices and livelihoods in depth.

The zines will be officially released in 3 week increments starting from March 30th.

Our Kyiv project will be released first - all profits from which will be donated to Ukrainian LGBTQ+ and feminist NGO

Make sure to order early and support! So excited to share this with you all ✨

So happy to finally announce the release of our 4-part print series documenting creative communities in Europe!

Sick Love is interested in underground communities - specifically q***r and creative ones - the most interesting of which often exist outside of major cities. We believe they are the heart of a city's development and culture, offering insight into both the triumphs and failures of the space in which they exist.

We visited Leipzig, Warsaw, Kyiv and Glasgow before touching down in London again. All COVID-19 regulations were, of course, followed closely along the way.

We also collaborated with incredible local photographers to give each zine a unique and authentic feel.

All 4 zines are now available to pre-order. The zines will be officially released in 3 week increments starting from March 30th.

Although 3rd in the project, WE WILL BE RELEASING THE KYIV ZINE FIRST due to the invasion of Ukraine.

Meeting all involved and visiting such a beautiful country was a huge pleasure and one we will always cherish. This print celebrates the vibrance of culture and the strength of its Ukrainian people. All profits from this publication will be donated to Ukrainian LGBTQ+ and feminist NGO , who are currently covering basic needs in protection, safety and health for LGBTQ+ people during the war.
