The Immersive Competition is the Festival de Cannes’ latest Official Selection spotlighting the next generation of international artists who are redefining storytelling through immersive art.

What an incredible edition! 🎉

This year, the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes brought the immersive industry together at the Carlton Cannes for 11 days of networking and collaboration!

Through insightful panels, inspiring showcases and exchanges with over 220 participants at the Curators Network, the Immersive Market provided creators with direct access to curators, distributors and cultural institutions, opening the door to new partnerships and exhibition opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — we’re already looking forward to the next edition!

What a moment! 🌟

Yesterday, the Jury announced the winner for Best Immersive Work at a special awards ceremony at the stunning Plage des Palmes.

This year’s honour went to KATÁBASIS by Ugo Arsac with a Special Mention given to THE BLACK MIRROR EXPERIENCE by David Bardos and Damià Ferràndiz.

Immersive Jury President Blanca Li, alongside fellow jury members Hsin-Chien Huang, Mary Matheson, Céline Tricart and Michel van der Aa, took the stage to reveal the winners of this year’s competition.

The award for Best Immersive Work of the Festival de Cannes’ Compétition Immersive was presented to KATÁBASIS by Ugo Arsac.
A Special Mention was also awarded to THE BLACK MIRROR EXPERIENCE by David Bardos and Damià Ferràndiz.
