Synopsis
La boutique de feux d’artifice Obinata s’apprête à être saisie par les autorités. Cela fait six ans que Keitaro vit reclus dans l’usine abandonnée, poursuivant l’illusion de son père disparu à travers la fabrication de feux d’artifice.
Une Aube Nouvelle suit trois jeunes confrontés aux catastrophes climatiques, à l’effondrement environnemental, et à la quête de leur identité.

✨ Découvrez le trailer de THE FALL, le nouveau court métrage de Christine Rebet !

Le film est présenté aujourd'hui au festival Porto Post Doc dans la catégorie International Medium-Length and Short Film Competition.

Réalisé dans le cadre de la résidence d’artistes Miyu x FRAC Picardie, THE FALL marque une nouvelle collaboration entre art contemporain et cinéma d’animation.

Synopsis : À travers la voix collective de ses ancêtres, Simone Harris, de la septième génération marron en Jamaïque, revisite l'histoire de la figure mythique de Queen Nanny. Remuant cet héritage, elle rappelle par des implorations magiques les prouesses spirituelles de ce peuple qui aura su résister à l’oppression coloniale patriarcale en déployant des techniques de guérilla et de camouflage où se mêlent des rites, des chants et des recettes médicinales.
