FALSO POSITIVO by Theo Montoya, developed in Full Circle Lab , now joined by Eye Eye Pictures reknown for having produced FJORD, and Ruben Ostlund’s upcoming THE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM IS DOWN.

SHOOTING STARS by Parsa Ansari, now doing his Pop Up Film Residency in Paris in partnership with the CNC. Co-produced by Folk Film, known for the 2023 CPH:DOX winner MOTHERLAND.

As the 上海国际电影节SIFF gets underway, we’re celebrating the world premiere of WHEELS OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS, a Serbian documentary that took part in our First Cut Lab RE-ACT and First Cut+ Karlovy Vary.

Following an actress, a painter, and an engineer who left their former lives behind to become truck drivers, the film explores migration, belonging, and the pursuit of the American dream on the open road.

TATINO has a long history of collaborating with some of the series industry’s most accomplished professionals voices. Recently, our own Anastasia Hoppanova (Anastasia R. Hoppanova ) sat down with three distinguished professionals to discuss the future of series.

First up is Johnathan Young, who began his career as a drama director before moving into producing. Over the years, he has produced more than 1,000 hours of television in the UK, including the BAFTA-nominated The Sinking of the Laconia. In 2014, he joined HBO Europe as VP Original Production, overseeing drama development and production across the region.

Four films supported through First Cut Lab will have their world premieres at this year’s festival:

Meet the 6 projects selected for First Cut+ Munich 2026!

This new edition of First Cut+, launched in collaboration with Filmfest München, brings together bold new voices from Cameroon, Brazil, Germany, Slovenia and beyond. Half of the selected projects are directed by women, highlighting the richness and diversity of emerging international cinema.

These selected teams will take part in online consultations before coming together in Munich for pitching and networking sessions. One project will also be awarded the Walker+Worm First Cut+ Award.
