On June 27th in Cairo Egypt , during our visit I was particularly touched by the mission of the CEO Ayman Abbas of the ALNAS hospital. They all do an outstanding job.
Thank you Anwar el Kamony Founder of the Hope Giver Canpaign for organizing this visit .
This hospital is free for all forms of care, operations and examinations.
It's a model for the world.

As we marked the 10th anniversary of the Better World Fund during the 78th Cannes Film Festival, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Christian of Roma for their invaluable support as a sponsor of our event, which featured a Masterclass and a Gala Dinner.

As part of the 10th anniversary of Better World Fund, our charitable Gala Dinner was held on the beach of the Carlton Hotel during the 78th Cannes Film Festival, where India was the country of honour this year.

The evening supported Salaam Baalak Trust, a Delhi-based foundation founded by filmmaker Mira Nair, which provides full care and protection to street-connected children through a wide range of child-focused programmes. A charity auction held during the dinner helped raise vital funds for this important cause.

During the evening, we had the honour of recognising outstanding individuals for their commitment and achievements. Mira Nair, Nandita Das, Chiara Tilesi and Kevin Spacey received the Best Engagement Award, while Keni Silva and Patrick Doherty were awarded for their unwavering commitment. H.R.H Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse, Mark Peine, and Christian Vosseler were honoured with the Best Achievement Award.

We proudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of Better World Fund with a Masterclass led by UNESCO Artist for Peace Guila Clara Kessous, held on the beach of the Carlton Hotel during the 78th Cannes Film Festival.

The first part of the event opened a powerful conversation on women’s rights, gender equality, and education, with contributions from Patrick Doherty, Amruta Fadnavis, Leila Doukali, Isabelle Lonvis-Rome, Bhavani Rao, and Keni Silva.

The second part, moderated by Valentina Castellani, focused on cinema and featured the inspiring voices of Mira Nair, Nandita Das, Matt Hookings, Pan Nalin, Justin Tinto and Barry Alexander Brown.

We are deeply grateful to all the speakers, partners, and guests who made this moment a true celebration of dialogue, art, and impact.
