Tomorrow in Sight
-
Filmmaker and Tomorrow in Sight jury member Nathan Ambrosioni shares his thoughts on Such a Resounding Silence by Emmanuelle Béart & Anastasia Mikova, which is part of the Tomorrow in Sight label. 🎥

In this powerful documentary, Béart breaks the silence surrounding in**st, confronting her own story and opening a space for other survivors to speak. Co-directed with Anastasia Mikova, the film gives a voice to those too often unheard and questions the taboos and legal blind spots around child sexual abuse in France. Through intimate testimonies, Such a Resounding Silence explores the lasting impact of trauma and carries a universal message of resilience and solidarity.

INTERVIEW
-
Blanche Gardin and Sébastien Betbeder tell us about The Incredible Snow Woman (L’Incroyable femme des neiges), a film that follows Coline, a famed Arctic explorer who returns to her family home in the Jura after losing her job, her relationship, and her health. Between Greenland’s ice floes and the mountains of eastern France, the film blends adventure, family ties, and a very tender sense of humour.

They look back on creating this “snow woman” who can fight a bear but hesitates to face her own reflection, and on directing the trio formed by Blanche Gardin, Philippe Katerine, and Bastien Bouillon.

Selected in Panorama at the 75th Berlinale, The Incredible Snow Woman is now out in French theatres.
