paris, france / july '18

right before coming back to malaysia i spent close to a month living out of a duffel bag, traveling around 5 countries, 12 cities.

first stop - bonjour from paris!

they say it is the city of love, so best choice was to spend it with a buddy instead LOL tq greg

highlights: the bakery near the eiffel tower which had probably THE best apple pastries, recommended by our airbnb host; butchering almost every french name in the paris metro; quiche in jardin du luxemburg; the artwork (and the crowd) at the louvre.

i do wish i spent more time there just to be able to wander around longer, it does feel like the perfect place to do so, and also to live out some 'emily in paris' moments haha. (no, did not meet a hot neighbour in the downstairs apartment) would definitely go back, though i do wish to have the student benefits again - maybe with someone special next time? (sorry greg)

budapest, hungary / june '18

2nd part of our impromptu summer trip after prague.

budapest is such a pretty city, we were only there for about 3 days, but i can distinctly remember having deep life conversations in the széchenyi thermal baths (as one should) then immediately changing to our fanciest clothes and running from our airbnb so we didn't miss our reservation in the 'most beautiful cafe in the world' – ok honestly food was... meh, but we did take a lot of pictures to make up for it (why else were we there right)

prague, czech republic / june '18

part 1 of some bits and pieces from our impromptu summer trip

one thing that has stayed with me is czech dark beer, and how a random uncle from the souvenir shop said the more dark beer a woman drinks, the bigger their chest will grow (you know la haha) - he then looked at us two guys and said: 'for you guys, you will need to keep jumping'. his words not mine!

also our beer came in little choo choo trains (video coming soon lol)
