The core truth of anything we get obsessed about is this 👇
We want to inhabit things.
Worlds
Characters
Nobody watches Euphoria thinking “what’s the life lesson here?”… at least I hope not?
We want the glitter tears.
Maddie’s fur coat.
Same with anything thats become a cult hit or obsession in the past few years.
We’re so quick to reduce everything to aesthetics, I get it. I love me a Pinterest board, aesthetic anything
BUT it’s so much deeper than that.
And this is how audiences become attached to people online in the same way.
You don’t follow them because every single reel of post is groundbreaking.
You devour HER content on the daily because her emotional world is strong enough to leak into your reality… aka it’s sticking with you.
Her shares are getting under your skin, you’re thinking about it making breakfast, you’re religiously saving her reels…
You know every time she pops up with a new story or post, the frequency you’re about to experience.
This is why it’s not enough to just be a content creator anymore, people aren’t automatically going to be invested JUST because you posted 7 times this week and engaged everyday for 15 mins with your community.
Instead, we’re focusing on turning our brands into a cinematic universe, and that’s possible when you start leaning into your archetypes. 🌍
