✨ X at the de Tokyo !

We are proud to collaborate with French artist Jb Hanak (dDamage), who recently performed at the Institut français de Tokyo as part of a special evening dedicated to electronic music and visual creation.

During this unique performance, Jb Hanak presented an ambient live set accompanied by a 3D film directed by Kelit Raynaud.

This audiovisual piece brings to life the Hexahedre project "Egocentric Visuo-Spatial Perspective", a collaboration between Jb Hanak (sound & visuals) and Cyril Laurent (sound).

🎧 About the project :

Hexahedre is the result of a long-term musical dialogue between Jb Hanak and Cyril Laurent, exploring out-of-body experiences such as near-death sensations, astral travel, meditation, and altered states of consciousness.

Far from any scientific intention, the work offers a purely artistic and subjective vision, shaped by years of sonic exchanges between the two composers.

Hanak’s contribution blends noise-driven e-bow guitar lines and analog synth textures, while Laurent focused on ambient layers, rhythmic design, sampling, and final production. The mix was completed by Cyril Laurent, and the visual concept and illustrations were created by Jb Hanak himself.

The project will continue to evolve beyond music, taking form through art exhibitions, paintings, and virtual reality experiences accompanied by musical reinterpretations of the Hexahedre album.

🎶 The audience at the Institut français de Tokyo also had the chance to discover the limited-edition Hexahedre vinyl boxset, released by Parigo Music, including a double vinyl and exclusive lithographs.

Modulhater's career began in the early 2000s. After several years as a DJ with New wave, post-punk and cold-wave influences, he moved into electronic production, focusing on vintage synthesizers and drum machines.
Many tracks from his debut album "Acid" have already featured in series such as La luz Mas Oscura, Kleo ( Netflix) and Tokyo Vice ( / ), earning him the award for Best Use on a TV Series at the 2024 Production Music Awards with the track "Gevaert".
The story continues with his upcoming album ‘Acid Body Music’ on Parigo, already available on vinyl and DSPs.

🎶 🌆 New Parigo Album – Synthwave Retrowave 🌆 🎶

Parigo presents Synthwave Retrowave, the new project from multi-award-winning composer DJ Hertz. A former member of the group 9 O’Clock and winner of the 2019 Mark Award for Best Pop Track with his song Glow, he continues here his exploration of electronic textures.

Known for his musical versatility, DJ Hertz has also scored multiple sync placements for Netflix (Cobra Kai), HBO (Get Millie Black), and many more.

At the intersection of retro imagination and futuristic aesthetics, Synthwave Retrowave fuses the nostalgia of the ’80s with the energy of a contemporary French Touch. Each track showcases pulsing synths, cinematic electro textures, and a constant melodic tension. The album forms a dynamic soundscape, a stylized and emotional sonic world.

An album in line with DJ Hertz’s previous creations at Parigo, such as Future Beat, Brand Content, and Afro Pop.
