It was the kind of show Nancy Wilson and I used to talk about where jazz is fun, entertaining and where the mind is stirred and the heart is invited to play. Warm humor, sparkling repartee, and that irresistible swing that makes ninety minutes vanish like a single chorus. I had the joy of being welcomed up for a number, and the music carried on into the after hours with laughter and camaraderie.

Fine musicians, even finer people.
