Rehearsal for Saturday’s evening 8 p.m. concert at Théâtre du Châtelet.

Alma Brasileira, a wonderful programme about Brazilian music, its roots and influences. A cross-perspective, both contemporary — with two Brazilian composers, Harry Crowl and Joao Guilherme Ripper — and its European influence as represented by Mozart in the 18th century.

It will take place this Saturday at 8pm at the Théâtre du Châtelet, with the Americantiga Ensemble and Ricardo Bernardes.

🎹 In this captivating performance, pianist Cristina Ortiz interprets Chopin's Etude Op. 25 No. 7 with remarkable depth and nuance. Known for her expressive artistry and lyrical sensitivity, Ortiz brings out the poignant beauty of this work, often referred to as the "Cello Etude" for its rich, singing lines and introspective character.

This interpretation is a testament to her profound connection with Chopin's music, blending technical mastery with an emotional resonance that speaks directly to the heart.
