URTI (International Radio and Television Union) is the oldest audiovisual organisation and the only one entirely dedicated to the international. Created under the double patronage of UNESCO and Radiodiffusion Française, this union has been organising the exchanges of audiovisual contents since 1949 among its radio members, and since 1957 in television.
