HUMAN POSTCARDS is an ongoing series of 60 second video portraits, capturing the inspirational messages of every-day people from around the world. Who are you ?

HUMAN POSTCARDS is a series of one minute documentaries, taking you into the lives and minds of a universal community, the often unnoticed “invisible” people. Every person we meet, observe on the street, in a shop, behind a counter, and even the ones we don’t see, like the cherry picker behind the fruit or the dairy farmer behind our milk, have thoughts worth hearing, worlds worth seeing. Director & Producer

Born and raised in an artists and writers residency, I developed early on an ability to listen, watch and assist artists. A skill that opened up the doors of many countries, cultures, experiences which led me gradually to my own voice. The camera allowed me to explore unnoticed worlds with a special attention for the beauty of the invisible. I am very grateful for the journey so far and all the learning still ahead. HUMAN POSTCARDS is born from a sandwich man standing at the corner of Regent st and Oxford st in London : his “absence” to the crowd made him “present” to me. What are you thinking? Masha is a young girl whose life was marked early by the loss of her mother in the Ukraine war. In her own words, she reflects on what it means to lose someone and how to overcome this experience.

Maksym’s life shifted abruptly with the invasion, forcing him to leave behind his home and the sense of safety that once defined his childhood. Living through occupation, and losing his father in the war, shaped his understanding of how fragile normal life can be. His reflections carry both anger and clarity, grounded in what was taken from him and from others his age. Yet within this, he recognises the danger of hatred, describing it as something that can consume from within. His story remains suspended in that tension, between loss and the effort to hold on to a sense of humanity.

Angelina grew up under occupation in Ukraine, in a world where childhood gave way early to responsibility and fear. Surrounded by loss and separation, she learned to navigate life with a guarded distance, building walls to protect herself from further hurt. Within this, art became a vital space, a way to give form to her thoughts, her fears, and her sense of self. It offers her not only expression, but direction. At the same time, she holds onto a fragile understanding of trust, something both necessary and difficult after her experiences.

Portraits from Ukraine : Since the age of 11, Kostya grew up with war as a constant presence, shaping his childhood through loss, displacement, and uncertainty. When violence reached his home, it forced his family to leave and left him grappling with anger, sadness, and moments of deep despair. Over time, he arrived at a quiet but decisive understanding: that survival itself can be an active choice. On the football field, he finds a brief escape, a space where the weight of war recedes and another life becomes imaginable. From this, Kostya draws a simple conviction, that the meaning of life lies in finding something that allows you to move forward.
