(no remastered releases, mofi, SBM, 24 gold carat, HSM, or others).
RM could possibly be louder than CD due to the matching mode operated to reach R2R analog tape categorie.
Audio is a lossy kbps 16bit 48kHz AAC codec; enough to get expected differences.
Same Remastering chain for RM.
EQ is the variable.
Mastering chain is different.
