Allegorica Opera Management is delighted to welcome New Zealand soprano Madison Nonoa to its roster for general management!

Madison has recently garnered widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Amore in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice in Christof Loy’s production conducted by Gianluca Capuano and starring Cecilia Bartolii at Salzburger Festspiele | Salzburg Festival, and as Zerlina in Don Giovanni under Sir Simon Rattle at the 2025 Aix-en-Provence Festival.

She has also appeared at the Opéra national du Rhin as Maria in Barrie Kosky’s staging of West Side Story and as Galatea in Porpora’s Polifemo under the baton of Emmanuelle Haïm.

Madison has just made her debut with Pinchgut Opera as Abel in the Australian premiere of Alessandro Scarlatti’s Il primo omicidio, where she “sang the lines with soft tenderness, glistening clarity and a highly attractive bloom to the sound.” (The Sydney Morning Herald)

Discover the new album by countertenor Filippo Mineccia, dedicated to the legendary castrato Giovanni Rubinelli (1753–1829). Praised by music historian Charles Burney as one of the three greatest castrato voices of his time, Rubinelli inspired leading composers across Europe. This recording traces his remarkable career, from his debut in Sacchini's Calliroe to the opening of La Scala in Salieri's Europa riconosciuta and his celebrated appearances in London. With sensitivity and virtuosity, Filippo Mineccia brings to life the artistry of a singer who stood at the crossroads of the great castrato tradition and the new operatic style shaped by Gluck.
