Tonight, Arianna Vendittelli and Mauro Borgioni are in Wrocław, Poland, with Accademia Bizantina - Ottavio Dantone, for a performance of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
They will take on the two title roles, Arianna as Dido and Mauro as Aeneas, in this timeless masterpiece of Baroque opera.

On September 9, Maria Grazia Schiavo, Soprano and bass Mirco Palazzi will join I Virtuosi del TEATRO ALLA SCALA for an evening of Italian opera, featuring music by Rossini, Verdi and Donizetti, in the wonderful setting of Split’s historic Peristyle.

✨ We are delighted to announce that Alessandro De Marchi has been appointed Music Director of Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense (MACV), the period-instrument orchestra of the Warszawska Opera Kameralna, beginning with the 2026/27 artistic season. ✨

A passionate advocate for the rediscovery of lesser-known operatic works, De Marchi has also enjoyed a long-standing association with early music. Alessandro De Marchi will officially open his tenure with the 65th Anniversary Gala of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, on 13 September 2026 at the The Royal Castle in Warsaw, featuring Lucie Horsch, Serena Farnocchi and Uwe Stickert.

Last night at Folies Bergère in Paris, Valentino Buzza was met with great enthusiasm at the French avant-première of The Opera!, ahead of its release in cinemas across France.

Directed by Davide Livermore and Paolo Gep Cucco, the film stars Valentino in the title role, alongside Vincent Cassel, F***y Ardant, Mariam Battistelli, Caterina Murino, Erwin Schrott and Rossy de Palma.

Originally premiered at Teatro alla Scala on 19 January 2025, The Opera! now arrives on French screens!!
