To mark Trans Awareness Month, Banijay Pride hosted two powerful global conversations online over the past few weeks 🏳️‍⚧️🌈

We kicked things off with Big Brother UK’s Zelah Glasson and media personality & author Jaxon Feeley, diving into authentic trans representation in reality TV and hearing their personal experiences on screen, highlighting themes of motivation and fitness.

We later hosted a session with bestselling author Juno Dawson and animation director Hamish Steele. Their conversation centred on their remarkable careers. From writing for Doctor Who to creating hit Netflix animated series, they gave insight on how creativity and identity inform their storytelling as well as how powerful writing can widen the lens of representation.

Co-produced by Banijay Kids & Family, the animated series follows the mystery-busting adventures of Stan, a curious young nature lover, and his fun-loving Gran.

In an exciting new partnership, Stan & Gran joins forces with the RSPB, the UK’s leading conservation charity, for a year-long initiative bringing the show’s world to life in ‘Wild Times’ - the RSPB’s magazine for young readers.

The collaboration will feature interactive activities, fun comics, and creative ways to inspire children to explore and protect the natural world. 💚

Stan & Gran is airing now on Channel 5 and will launch on Nick Jr. UK in 2026.

Banijay Germany is bringing its live entertainment operations together under the newly founded Banijay Germany Live. The division will focus on three areas: Comedy Live Brands, Tour Booking, and the development of innovative live formats.

Leading the team are Ingrid Langheld as CEO, driving strategy and new business development, Godehard Wolpers as Managing Director for Live Brands & TV Production, and Lara Aupke as Managing Director for Booking & Event Management.
