In the summer of 2025 in Lisbon, Aurèle and Mesma invited some guests to an uncharted space in the city’s historic heart, to accompany the sunset with performances, music selections, and visuals. For the occasion, Aurèle composed a thirty minute long progression of lush and transportive compositions, paired with Gabriel Mester’s live visuals. The performance unfolded as the sun set over the city and through the main room’s open windows. This is the recording of that performance.

On October 15th, the latest installment of our Mesmarize series took place in a gorgeous new space in Bastille, Paris, in collaboration with . We hosted three performances by Tomoko Sauvage , mu tate , and Mark Fell, around a stage installation we designed for the space. The sound progressed in a perfect crescendo, from Tomoko Sauvage’s first aquatic frequency, to Mark’s very last kick, as ‘s visuals lit up the different layers of our suspended mobile.

We were honored to diffuse Alexandra Mettetal ‘s custom Mesmarize scent in the space again, and to have Thibaut Javoy supervise sound so perfectly.

Join us for another transportive evening of live performances and installations, in deep listening settings.

The Mesmarize event series focuses on showcasing live electronic music in ever changing locations, providing conditions for deep and focused listening to audiences, with accompanying live visuals and stage design.

Benzēne is a music and sound house that has been shaping projects worldwide for over fifteen years, across music, advertising, and cinema. Their ethos has always been to embrace diversity—working on creations of every scale, across cultural fields and artistic domains. Guided by a deep commitment to fostering Paris’s artistic and musical communities, Benzēne joins forces with Mesma for this special evening.

Mesmarize est de retour pour une nouvelle édition de notre série d’événements dédiée aux performances expérimentales, cette fois-ci en collaboration avec le studio benzēne, dans un magnifique nouvel espace à Bastille. Avec des performances par :

Notre série d’événements Mesmarize présente des performances live expérimentales dans des lieux toujours changeants, dans des conditions d’écoute “profonde”, accompagnées d’installations et de visuels.

Benzēne est une maison de production sonore et musicale opérant en France et à l’international pour les industries publicitaires, musicales et cinématographiques. Située à la croisée des acteurs et des disciplines du paysage audiovisuel, son credo a toujours été d’embrasser la diversité, en collaborant sur des créations de toute envergure et dans tous les champs culturels et artistiques.

Animée par l’envie de devenir un soutien actif des scènes locales et de se faire passeur d’expériences vers de nouveaux publics, la maison s’associe à Mesma pour donner vie à une soirée inédite.
