The ceramic facade does not just cover the building. It is the building's identity, thermal skin, visual signature, and the first thing Stuttgart remembers.

Green Ceramic Condos is an AI-driven design concept by Synthetic Architecture for a 1,128-square-metre residential building in Stuttgart, where every material decision began as a machine-generated study. Custom diffusion models tested how ceramic glaze colour, porosity, and surface texture would respond to Stuttgart's humidity and light across the seasons, the results used as analytical sketches and storyboard frames before a single parametric line was drawn. Balcony depths, facade perforations, and communal terraces were dimensioned directly from those AI-generated atmospheres.

The green ceramic extends from the facade into the interiors without interruption: bedroom walls and headboards wrapped in undulating tile reliefs, a kitchen where walls, counters, and shelves form a continuous field of material tactility, a library curving around window bays to follow the logic of the ceiling above it. Arched openings and tile modulation align with solar angles throughout. The building reflects the canopy outside and the residents within it.

An AI concept where machine imagination and human intuition produced something neither would have arrived at alone.

These flower-inspired pendant lights began as linework and color studies within .du illustration practice. Now, they take physical form. Suspended, dimensional, glowing.

Each curve and color drop echoes her signature visual language. A kind of emotional geometry, reimagined through light and spatial design.

The apartment had been through several renovations by previous owners. Each one had chipped away at something original. Forma Arquitectura came in to put it back.

Casa Montjuïc is a listed modernist flat on the mountain of Montjuïc in Barcelona, full of architectural detail that had been pushed to the margins. The floor plan was left untouched. The high ceilings stayed. The hydraulic mosaic floors were recovered and restored. The original wooden doors were repaired rather than replaced. For every new surface, microcement was introduced as a deliberately neutral, artisanal material that steps back and lets the historic ceramic pieces carry the room.

The goal was to understand the building before touching it. The result is an apartment that feels as if it was always this way.

A 1970 Pagoda, returned to life with obsessive care.

This Mercedes‑Benz W113 280SL in Dark Green (268) with cognac leather is a completed SLSHOP Reborn build, part of a programme that treats each classic SL as a bespoke commission rather than a standard restoration.

SLSHOP starts with the right donor car, then strips, catalogues and rebuilds every component, from engine and gearbox to axles and fuel system, tuning everything on a rolling road so the car drives better than new. Body panels are set in an original Mercedes jig for perfect gaps, paint is applied only after weeks of prep, and the interior is reconstructed in period‑correct or modern materials, down to carpets, wood, chrome and seat‑belts.

The result is a car that keeps the soul of Stuttgart’s 1960s icon but gains subtle modern refinements in drivability, reliability and finish. More than a classic, this Reborn 280SL is a memory machine built to be driven, from w**e tours to Alpine passes, with the full backing of SLSHOP’s care and service programme.

What if domesticity were no longer designed but instead emerged as a consequence of life itself? That is the question Ismael Medina Manzano built into the walls of a 60 sqm apartment in San Sebastián.

The building dates from 1966, a product of Spain's 1959 Stabilisation Plan: minimal, compartmentalised, designed for the nuclear family and nothing else. The Unplanned Domestic Prototype refuses that logic at every turn. A 175-degree curved wall of handmade glazed ceramic tiles reorganises the entire plan, integrating kitchen, storage, bathroom, and mirrored cabinetry into one continuous gesture. A sandstone portal cut through it exposes the geological layers of the local stone in section. The island is on wheels. The kitchen island lifts to adjust height. The stools are made from tree roots. The second bathroom is steel and mesh.

The project does not offer a solution. It offers a provocation.

One colour. Every element. From the cloth to the pockets to the legs, nothing breaks the palette.

The Monocolor billiard table by is a 9-foot pool table finished in satin lacquer with Gorina cloth, where the monochrome commitment runs through the entire object without exception. Six colourways: Pastel Pink, Fresh Green, Electric Blue, Black is Black, White Ibiza, and Silver Gray. The coloured balls are the only contrast, and against a single-tone surface they read more vividly than they ever would on traditional green baize. A drawer holds four two-piece cues, Super Aramith Pro balls, a rack, chalk, and cloth brush. Integrated electronics power LED lighting, game reset, and automatic shut-off.

Born from the combined experience of manufacturer Billares Córdoba and the creative direction of BD Barcelona. A billiard table that finally belongs in the same conversation as the room around it.

Before the staircase was positioned, the architects studied the wind. Before the patio was placed, they mapped the breeze. The climate is not a constraint here. It is the design.

Es Migjorn Social Housing is a nine-dwelling building in Es Migjorn Gran, Menorca, promoted by IBAVI as part of the Balearic Islands' public housing network. miba architects and SIMBIOTIQA won the open competition with a building that achieves a fully passive dynamic: all units have double orientation and cross ventilation, the roof is a solar farm that also ventilates itself to reduce summer heat gain, and the construction combines traditional building methods with sustainable prefabrication.

Social housing as an act of environmental intelligence.

a Warsaw apartment where history and calm meet through wood, light, and quiet detail.

South-facing windows draw sunlight across dark herringbone floors and teak paneling, softening the modernist bones of a 1936 building. Walls hold muted depth, creating a gentle backdrop for spaces that feel alive yet restrained, where every corner is crafted for daily life without excess.

Living areas flow into one another, the open plan softened by built-in carpentry, geometric tiles, and subtle play with volume. The kitchen is pared back, almost hidden, letting warmth and light take the lead. Bedrooms and storage cocoon inhabitants in rich textures and careful proportions, while each element whispers craft, care, and quiet luxury.

Even the smallest details, the pattern of sunlight across a wall, the tactile pull of a cabinet, the soft reflection of the city outside, anchor the apartment in a sense of calm rhythm. It is a home that invites pause, attention, and a slow way of moving through space.

Curtain rail offcuts. Material with one job, destined for the scrap pile, given another instead.

The Slide Chair bends and reshapes the extruded profile of discarded aluminium curtain rails into a seat, the geometry of the original rail still legible in the final form. Structure and comfort resolve into the same minimal silhouette without disguising where the material came from. Made from offcuts containing 76 percent recycled aluminium, the design treats circularity as a practical decision rather than a marketing one: use what already exists, change what it does.

A chair that started its life as something completely unrelated to sitting.

The Mini was already a British icon. Ian Callum and Wood & Pickett decided it deserved to become one again.

The Wood & Pickett Mini by CALLUM is a strictly limited hand-built restomod starting at £88,000, built on a fully restored Mk5 Sportspack body with original Wood & Pickett arches and driven by a rebuilt 1380cc Stage 3 engine producing over 100 BHP with electronic fuel injection, drive-by-wire throttle control, and a bespoke twin-exit exhaust. The chassis is entirely rebuilt: new uprights, steering, bearings, reconditioned subframes, vented and grooved brakes, and CALLUM-designed 13-inch alloy wheels developed specifically for the project.

Inside, a newly designed dashboard inspired by Wood & Pickett's famed Margrave interiors, a Piano switch pack, refined metal bezels, and bespoke CALLUM-trimmed seats transform a cabin that was already iconic into something entirely contemporary. No two builds are alike. David Gandy, the first owner, put it simply: bespoke, attention to detail, and performance.

Ian Callum calls the Mini one of the most important cars ever created. This is his version of what it deserves to be.
