As they do every year, The Toxic Avenger & Greg Kozo retreat to the Auvergne (central France) , cut off from the world, for a week in a mystical house to compose spontaneously and organically, while simultaneously producing and mixing. Their only visitors are wild horses, deer, ghostly presences in the house, and the shaman next door. Nothing is planned in advance; only the instruments are chosen. This time, with “Alone Together,” recorded in January 2026, the result is spellbinding, blending dark dubstep, minimal dubstep, and cinematic electronica. Analog synths, hazy textures, and progressive energy intertwine in an immersive emotional journey, at the heart of the boys’ private world, divided between music and manual labor—cooking for Toxic and tending the garden for Greg.
An extraordinary, adventurous album with a lingering impact—unmarketed and a far cry from today’s formulaic trends… yet it has racked up hundreds of thousands of streams over the past three weeks.
And today is also Greg’s birthday—one of the label’s co-founders—so happy birthday, Greg!

The first portrait of Toxic by Mathieu Bablet.
Their collaboration began with the “Carbone Toxique” EP in 2022 (the soundtrack to the comic book “Carbone et Silicium”), followed by ‘Inframonde’ in 2025 (the soundtrack to the comic book “Silent Jenny”), and finally the video game “Cairn” (reviewed by Le Nouvel Obs below), whose vinyl release is coming out in two days.
Who knows, maybe the collaboration will continue...

Out! The incredible video game “Cairn” and its OST, composed in part by The Toxic Avenger, featuring the two singles ‘Rise’ and “Only The Mountain.”
Our friend Mathieu Bablet - Auteur de BD is back on “Cairn” as the game's artistic director, and The Toxic Avenger also provided the fabulous OST ‘Inframonde’ for his comic book “Silent Jenny” last October.

The Toxic Avenger's music accompanies Aava and her “climbot” on their climb and adventure to the summit of Mount Kami.

Enjoy the climb!

Thanks to Audrey from The Game Bakers and Vince G4F Records, with whom we have been sharing the success of the video game “Furi” for 10 years.
