He was already running… the kind of running that makes your heart skip because you just know what’s coming. So of course I said, “walk, don’t run”but in my head, I had already accepted I’d be chasing him in 2 seconds.
But this time,he actually slowed down and started walking. I froze like oh,so Now we listen??😳
Because why is it always when I’m fully prepared for chaos that he decides to act right?
