Salma + Louise, the creative duo formed by Salma Zahore and Louise From Scratch , have released their new single Abjad Hawaz (أبجد هوز). The track marks a bold collaboration that merges driving techno with the ancient Arabic alphabet, transforming each letter into rhythm, breath, and pulse. The release comes in two versions: a Radio Edit and a Club Edit, allowing the piece to travel from intimate listening spaces to the intensity of the dance floor.
Although the song is released together with the film of the same name by Hadi Moussally .moussally , it stands fully on its own. The concept behind the visuals helps illuminate the spirit of the music. Inspired by the Arabic alphabet, the project turns each character into a movement and a sound. The visuals show Salma Zahore dancing among the ruins of Barcelona, embodying the alphabet as a physical and emotional language. This same energy fuels the track, where Louise From Scratch builds a powerful techno landscape around the raw textures of Salma’s voice.

The project has already begun attracting international attention. The film premiered at Mozilla Festival in November 2025 and has since been selected six times by leading festivals, including Chéries-Chéris and ASVOFF in Paris, FashionClash in Maastricht, and Mostra Fire in Barcelona next June.
