The Eiffel Tower was actually never meant to be permanent! 😲
When it was built for the 1889 World’s Fair, it was intended to stand for only 20 years. Parisian artists even criticized it at the time, calling it an eyesore.
But thanks to its usefulness as a radio transmission tower, it was allowed to stay, and it went on to become one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. 🇫🇷✨
