The Ride List for the 2026 edition of The Hoppings is now available with Elevate 85 taking the headlines being the tallest Star Flyer ride to have ever been on the Town Moor, if your not scared of heights that one is a must ride! 😀🎠

Other notable names include Ice Jet, Physco, Booster Ma###, Atmosfear, Waltzers, AIR, Sea Storm, Tornado Twist, Tagada, Spinning Coaster, Giant Wheel aswell as plenty of other favourites for all the family to enjoy.

This is just purely list of rides but don’t forget there’s so much more to see and do too alongside this including at The Hoppings Village which has Food & Drink (Feast Street USA), Live Entertainment, Kidz Club & plenty of Seating.

ART Engineering Wild Swings have become incredibly popular the past few years with brand new ones appearing at various Theme Parks around the world 🤩

The ride itself is basically a family orientated Top Spin, given this particular ride isn’t able to invert they do offer a sensation where you feel like your about to roll over, this is then given an extra thrill as you just have a singular lap bar. The height restriction is quite low too which gives them a great appeal to families and they also have a good capacity.

Here’s Vic’s Whirlwind at Plopsaland Belgium which was new for 2025 and is the first one we have come across although the UK now has its own at Paultons Park which we hope to experience in the near future as we’re very much overdue a return to one of the UKs best Theme Parks.

We’ve just hit another major milestone… THANKYOU for 25,000 followers here on Facebook! 🥳🎡

When I first started this page I never thought it would reach such significant numbers but it’s highly appreciated and there’s no doubt I pour an extreme amount of effort into this hobby that I absolutely love and enjoy so it’s nice to see it’s paying off and that the good word is being shared not only just around the UK but we have a strong number of followers from around the world too.

1/4 of 100K isn’t bad going 😄 but there’s still so many more new places to visit and explore both inside the UK and outside too as we continue to expand the boundaries.

Thankyou for your continued support as we continue to showcase Fairgrounds, Amusement Parks & Theme Parks across the UK & beyond.

Most may have full focus on The Hoppings during June but there’s also some other great Funfairs that are open across the country during this month including a big highlight of our 2024 season Cambridge Midsummer Fair presented by Eastern Counties funfairs 😎🎡

We first covered the Midsummer Fair on this page back in 2024 and really enjoyed our time, so much that we made a return in 2025 and despite there being a few less rides than the previous year the sun was shining and there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Rides we’ve seen on this ground during our past visits include Stratosfear Booster, Euro Flyer, Chaos & Tornado 2, Spin a Disc 2 Waltzer, Tagada, Super Star, Thriller & Terminator Matterhorn, Miami, Ghost Train, Dodgems, Jump & Smiles, Super Trooper and an Orbiter plus other well known machines. There is also Market Stalls next to the Fair aswell as Children’s Rides, Game Stalls & Food Stalls which offer a wide variety of Food & Drink options to suit your taste.

On Thursday & Sunday they do reduced price nights where all rides are just £2 which can make the Fair more affordable to people which tends to be a really popular time to visit.

It’s now June which means it’s the month of The Hoppings, the 1st major English Fair of the season opens very soon! 🙌🤩

The rides have already started to arrive on the Town Moor ahead of this years Fair and there promises to be some exciting new additions.

Some of the Fantasy Island team will be taking part in the Nottingham Running Festival 10K on the 30th August 2026 to help raise money for PASIC 🏃‍♂️🫶

PASIC is the Mellors Group Charity of the Year and they support children and young people facing cancer, along with their families, through some unimaginably difficult times.

A ride type that’s becoming increasingly popular across the UK is the Confolding Group Extremes, this particular one is Venom which commonly travels with C.Porter Funfairs & Events and it was drawing in the crowds at Pinner Fair! 😎💚
