🚢 Our Next Adventure Begins…
On Sunday, we set off on a luxury Rhine River cruise with Viking.
To put things into perspective, the exceptionally low water levels on parts of the Rhine mean that some sections of the river are currently not navigable. As a result, on Day 4 we’ll be swapping our river views for motorway views, with a 400-mile coach journey to Strasbourg to board another ship and continue our holiday.
We have to say that Viking have been fantastic throughout. They offered us the option to change our sailing dates, but with other plans already in place, that wasn’t something we could do.
So, while this may not be quite the cruise we originally booked, we’re determined to make the most of it. After all, every great adventure comes with a story to tell!
