Great buzz from our friends at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes! Thank you for flagging up our new report on the number of European films and TV series available on VOD!

How much European content is on VOD? 🍿💻

Out of the 2.3 million works available across VOD platforms in the EU, 32% are European films & TV series.

New data also shows:
➡️ Works produced in the EU27 account for 22% of the total offering
➡️ Works from other European countries make up another 10%
➡️ On average, 15% of catalogues feature EU non-national works
➡️ Subscription VOD services (SVOD) carry the highest share of EU non-national content at 18%, thanks to their cross-border reach

European stories are making their way onto on-demand platforms — but there’s still room to grow their visibility and reach across borders.
