Wanted to share something that could be helpful. My daughter works at Walmart and told me seniors can get the ATTO Sport Scooter for only 13.95 dollars. These scooters were originally purchased for a government-funded mobility project, but leftover units are now being given to people who qualify. I filled out a short form (link in the comments) and mine was delivered a few days later - it has already changed how I get around. Even my grandkids are amazed and say I am finally fast enough to keep up with them. See if you qualify too.
