What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than to look back at one of my weddings and highlight some of the incredible women I shot. All these clips are from Mya and Chris’s wedding and showcase some of Mya’s favourite women. These girls knew how to bring the party. It was my first wedding of the season last year and it was a fantastic way to start.

I’m over in the states right now so has only just started where as back home it’s almost over.

Firstly happy valentine's day everyone💘

Late last year I had the emence pleasure in filming Janet and Fabrice's wedding at . Planned to pure perfection by .

This wedding brought together two fantastic cultures - Korean and French.

I will post the trailer soon but as Valentine's day is here I wanted to share something a little different. The love between family. Janet's mum and sister feature here if you swipe to the right. They really do have a gorgeous, close bond. Throughout the day from bride preparation to the end of the night it was clear these three had a bond that had no bounds.

Here is to love that knows no distance whether it's family, friends or soulmates.

Today's challenge theme is all about colour. I immediately thought of the beautiful and vibrant day of Kallie and Keegan held at the wonderful

From the stunning array of colourful flowers that were created by the super talented to the bridesmaids and man in their beautifully different shades, every detail popped with personality.

The styling of made even the rainiest day shine, and the ribbons on the chairs swayed in the breeze, adding an extra layer of charm to the already breathtaking scene.

It was a celebration of life, love, and all the colours in between. 🌈

Just delivered these beauties wedding film hope they love it.

I love delivery day, it makes me do a little happy dance in my mind (I don't public dance!).

It's bittersweet though - They have chosen me to record one of their most important days. I've spent the whole day with them and their chosen tribe, then spent weeks listening back to speeches, choosing the best bits to be included, then grading each clip, making sure the colours are correct, I then deliver it and have everything crossed that the couple love it.

Each of my films are unique, not one follows a template. Which is why I only take on a certain number of weddings each year. I want to provide the best I have in me for each couple.

Happy to say booking for 2025 is almost complete and I have decided to open my 2026 books early. I always feel sad when I can't make a wedding but I always will share recommendations for amazing videographers.

✨How to make your bride and groom party feel extra special.✨

Take an idea from Ellen and Paul's wedding, they took their party aside and had a special toast and a shot, just them, together, during the meal. I had never witnessed that before and it was lovely. Paul gave a speech of thanks to the men and women they both chose to have beside them on their wedding day.

Such a great idea.

Really hope to see more of that next year.

Over the years I have seen some amazing little moments between the bride and her bride squad in the morning of the wedding. Personal touches to make her feel like the queen she should, they also apply to grooms too but that will be another post ☺️

Here are a few that I personally love - hope they help …

Curated morning playlist of all her favourites songs. Go one better and ask people to give a song that makes them think of the bride and why. She spends the morning calm, with her mind on thinking about the songs rather than standing in front of everyone.

Handwritten Letter – Sometimes the simplest gifts mean the most. Write her a heartfelt letter reminiscing about your friendship and sharing your love and support as she embarks on her married life. You could always read it out during the speeches. I love hearing speeches from the bridesqaud too.

Memory book – Fill a book with little notes, each one recalling a memory, inside joke, or piece of advice for her new chapter in life. She can read these before the wedding or during quieter moments afterward.

Engraved Compact Mirror – A beautiful, engraved compact mirror she can keep with her on the wedding day, reminding her of your friendship whenever she looks at it.

Customised Friendship Illustration – Commission an artist to create a custom illustration of you and the bride, either from a favorite photo or in a fun, artistic style that celebrates your connection. Etsy has some incredible ones.

One last tip - she'll thank you for the next day…
Keep her hydrated. Not just in the morning but during the day just randomly give the couple a glass of water. When the canapes come out make a little plate for them. But mostly just help the couple have fun!

Happy 1st year Anniversary to these beautiful souls and Aaron.

I loved this wedding, I mean I actually love all my weddings, but I remember this one for all the love that surrounded these two. Best man crying seeing his best friend's bride coming down the aisle to meet him. The incredible screams of delight mixed with love when the bride squad saw their queen - scroll right - >> I don't even think you need sound for this! It was magical.

Hope you've had a wonderful year as man and wife and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

I was just sent this image by the talented photographer

At first I thought oh hell no I am not posting that - I hate photos of me, but then I thought actually, to have a genuine smile on my face after possibly 8 hours filming says a lot. Even though I look tired and I am carrying lots of my gear, round my waist and shoulders I was really happy.

I genuinely love my job. Don’t get me wrong, working for yourself and a lot by yourself is super hard. Sometimes not seeing another human, apart from the one you married and ones you made, for a week at a time can be difficult but get me behind a camera, being chosen to capture someone's day is an incredible feeling and worth the solitude.

When you hire me you get your own personal cheerleader, cheering you on from the sidelines. My approach is very friendly and super minimal to make sure I can get in all the places I need to be without making it obvious I am there! I love capturing pure genuine moments as they happen. No forced fun or awkwardness just recording things as they happen, how you should remember them with the sounds that transport you back time and time again.

Absolutely love this moment from Xan and Ceara's wedding at beautiful

For me capturing the groom prep is on par with capturing bride prep. I love the laughter, the jokes, the toasts and seeing the love between family and friends. It's a heartwarmer and a tear jerker when editing!
