Les Rencards played at Le Ravelin in Toulouse last night. Hailing from Barcelona, the band delivers a high-energy blend of garage punk and Sixties beat. It was a fantastic gig, bursting with energy, with Merli singing in French and backed by a tight, talented group of musicians. A single on Rogue Records coming soon? Yes—expected in the second half of the year.

We were in Zaragoza last Wednesday to see the Wyld Gooms — fantastic band. Their gig was packed with energy, and they showcased their Sixties influences through both their look and their music. Modest and kind people. Their first LP is coming out this summer (on Outro Records, though I'm not sure), and there might be a single on Rogue Records next year.

While everyone was either away at the Cosmic Trip in Bourges or watching football on TV, the headquarters of Rogue Records (my wife and I) headed to Perpignan to see Viv And The Sect from Mexico. And let me tell you, folks, we were absolutely blown away. Their music is an inspired and perfectly executed blend of garage rock and psychedelic rock. Each of them is an excellent musician, showing great cohesion and tight ex*****on. They're heading into the studio in July to record a single that will be released in 2026 on Rogue Records.

Two exciting new releases are coming soon from Rogue Records.

Emerging from Vancouver, Canada in 2014, The Bad Beats have been crafting their own fiery take on 60s garage rock, with three LPs released under Germany’s Soundflat Records to showcase their sound.
Their latest single on Rogue Records brings the grinding intensity of "Lucy Mei," a brooding, grit-soaked garage rock anthem, while the B-side, "Have Love Will Travel," injects fresh energy into The Sonics' classic, with fuzzed-out guitars and wailing harmonica cranked up for a full-throttle, floor-rattling experience!

Hailing from the south of the Netherlands, MOOON is made up of brothers Tom and Gijs de Jong, along with their cousin Timo van Lierop. For over ten years, they’ve been sharing their sixties-inspired pop across Europe and the UK.
Following three albums and numerous singles, they now unveil their latest tracks on a brand-new 7” released by Rogue Records.
The A-side features "You Got It All," delivering a groove like never before that’s guaranteed to get you moving on the dance floor. Still have some energy? Flip it over to the B-side and enjoy "Modulation Baby," a high-energy sw***er packed with fuzz and rich harmonies!

A great review of Dom Mariani’s single in the latest issue of Shindig! magazine! A big thank you to Jeff Penczak. So no, it’s not garage rock—there’s even some pedal steel—but the guitar parts are absolutely gorgeous, and the melody is irresistible. The Badfinger cover on the B-side is particularly well done. A great record from Master Mariani.

Medway power-pop-psych legends The Galileo 7 deliver their first official 45 since 2019, and their debut for Rogue Records.
Ex-Prisoner Allan Crockford leads his crew through 2 new sparkling originals, chock full of the group’s trademark vocal harmonies and layers of guitar and keyboards.
“Look Away” is an urgent stomper, highlighting the uncertain and often troubling times we live in, while “Over The Horizon” offers some optimism to navigate the troubling waters ahead, concluding “Our bad luck can’t last forever”.

From the North East of England Thee Strawberry Mynde bring their own brand of psychedelic garage soul to the world through their new four track EP on Rogue Records.
The three piece include an ex member of Jarvis Humby in their ranks. They are aided and abetted, on Blues harp, for two of the numbers, by the legendary Jim Riley from Wipeout.
Each of the four original tracks captures the electric live energy of the band and are primed ready to feed your mynde.
