Straight out of Barcelona, Les Rencards are three experienced international musicians fronted by a powerful woman delivering a hot, sexy, high voltage rock'n'roll show.
Rooted in the primal sounds of garage rock and punk legends like The Sonics, The Stooges, and The Ramones, Les Rencards push the genre into fresh territory—fusing classic grit with a bold, modern edge. Their explosive stage presence has already turned heads across Europe, igniting everything from underground clubs to major festival stages.
Their original songs, sung entirely in French, combine sharp, clever lyrics with tight, top-tier songwriting—beautifully showcased on their two LPs released via Portugal’s Groovie Records.
“Boîte à malice” is a tune that drummer Ian Kay first recorded with his late father Noël Kay on production duties, but was left in the vaults for years until Les Rencards have rescued and rearranged it in full Jacques Dutronc lore.
“Pas de cœur” is a no-holds-barred garage-punk banger that’s fast becoming a crowd favourite during their latest live sets.
Formed in 2021 in Thessaloniki, The Sences are six young firestarters breathing new life into the raw, electric spirit of 60s Garage Rock.
Barely out of their teens—but playing with the confidence and depth of seasoned pros—they channel the grit, urgency, and soul of a bygone era. Their sound is steeped in vintage fuzz, Farfisa organ swirls, and psychedelic undertones, delivered with an intensity that feels anything but retro.
Following a powerful debut EP and a full-length LP—both released on the acclaimed Greek label Lost In Tyme—The Sences return with two brand-new tracks: melodic, evocative, and dripping with authentic sixties flavor.
