Back to work, Rogue Records kicks off the year 2026 with a bang with two new releases.

The Basements formed in Thessaloniki, Greece back in 2009. They combine their obvious influences, such as the Seeds, the 13th Floor Elevators and the myriads of bands assembled on such compilations as "Teenage Shutdown" and "60s Garage Punk Unknowns", with an original approach to songwriting. After three LPs, an EP and a 7", they return with two brand-new tunes recorded for Rogue Records: A side "Feelings", a fuzz- and Farfisa-driven mid-tempo groover, is paired with “Foolish Lies” on the flip, a wyld garage punk freakout.

The Maharajas are Sweden’s sharpest answer to the eternal call of rock ’n’ roll. Formed in Stockholm 30 years ago with an unshakable devotion to the raw sounds of the 1960s, the band detonates a high-voltage mix of garage rock, R&B, and beat music—loud, fast, and dressed to kill. Fuzzed-out guitars, pounding drums, and sneering vocals collide in songs built for sweat-soaked clubs and blown speakers.
More than revivalists, The Maharajas live and breathe the attitude of the era: style, danger, and total commitment. Their records crackle with primitive energy, while their live shows are a masterclass in controlled chaos, earning them a reputation as one of Europe’s most explosive garage rock acts.
Rogue Records proudly continues their vinyl journey by releasing The Maharajas’ brand‑new 7” single “Just Drink Wine / Broken Teller.” Two explosive, up‑tempo rock’n’roll gems guaranteed to make turntables spin themselves dizzy.

The end of the year is fast approaching, and it is time for us to take stock of the year gone by.

We were able to release 14 singles and EPs in 2025, which remains our record to date. The two Crimson Shadows reissues were a huge success, as they sold out within a month. I would like to extend my special thanks to Jens Lindberg and Mans Mansson, without whom these reissues would not have been possible.

Our sincere thanks also go to the musicians who place their trust in us—you are all exceptional—to the distributors and retailers who have supported us from the very beginning and without whom this label could not exist, and to you, our loyal customers who have followed us since release RR-001 in 2021. You are so many that I cannot name you all individually.

2025 gave us the opportunity to attend many concerts in France and Spain, to meet for the first time extraordinary musicians whom we had previously known only through the internet, to discover bands that truly won us over and whose records we will be releasing in 2026. I dare say that many of them have since become friends.

2026 promises to be rich in new releases, with around ten very concrete projects already planned, and several others currently under discussion.

With Christmas fast approaching, Rogue Records is delighted to unveil two new releases perfect for filling your holiday stockings.

The Violet Mindfield are a five-piece rock band hailing from the Inland Empire region of Southern California.
Over the course of a decade, they have developed a sound reflective of their Southern California roots as well as their love of all things 1960s.
They released a first self-titled album in 2014, and have since built a discography of albums, singles and EPs through various labels. Their 2025 album Distorted Portrait (via Outro Records) reflects their matured blend of retro-garage-psych plus refined songwriting.
They have toured Europe and the UK, their live shows are described as energetic, loud, fun, with a hint of retro-style flair and devoted to delivering the visceral spirit of garage rock.
Their ever expanding sound, influenced by classic English freakbeat, tough R&B, and even gospel, is showcased on the four songs of this new EP, their second release on Rogue Records.

Boston’s Muck & The Mires have been delivering their signature blend of British Invasion meets high-energy punk to audiences around the world since the early 2000s. Between tours, the band has released half a dozen singles and seven full-length albums. This new seven-inch on Rogue Records captures both sides of their sound: the high-voltage garage rocker “Tripping Out on Love” backed with the jangly, Merseybeat-inspired “Let’s Kiss and Make Up Tonight.”

The Crimson Shadows are a legendary garage rock band from Stockholm, Sweden, whose wild energy and authentic sound made them cult heroes of the mid-1980s Swedish garage rock revival. Formed in late 1984 by Jens Lindberg (bass, vocals), Peter Maniette (vocals, organ), Måns P. Månsson (guitar, vocals), and Johan Maniette (drums), the band quickly carved out a name for themselves with fuzz-driven guitars, pounding rhythms, Farfisa organ swirls, and a stage presence that brought the spirit of 1966 roaring back to life.
From the start, The Crimson Shadows stood apart by writing original material rather than relying solely on covers. “When I’m Going Away” and “Even I Tell Lies” were both released in 1985 in extremely limited pressings and quickly became collector’s items, earning the band underground acclaim across Europe.
Rogue Records is very proud to reissue both singles to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Here they come again, carefully remastered from the original tapes, in their wild and uncompromising energy.

Straight out of Barcelona, Les Rencards are three experienced international musicians fronted by a powerful woman delivering a hot, sexy, high voltage rock'n'roll show.
Rooted in the primal sounds of garage rock and punk legends like The Sonics, The Stooges, and The Ramones, Les Rencards push the genre into fresh territory—fusing classic grit with a bold, modern edge. Their explosive stage presence has already turned heads across Europe, igniting everything from underground clubs to major festival stages.
Their original songs, sung entirely in French, combine sharp, clever lyrics with tight, top-tier songwriting—beautifully showcased on their two LPs released via Portugal’s Groovie Records.
