I celebrated my one month living in France in the home that started it all— La Pitchoune, the little one.

I will always remember that day in 2022, in my parents basement in Pennsylvania. I can feel the cold leather couch against my skin as I cozied up to watch something on the television. I am a creature of habit, always turning to my comfort shows but this day, I was craving something new. Little did I know, I would find exactly what my soul was aching for. There it was, La Pitchoune: Cooking in France. The photograph of the La Peetch kitchen caught my eye but what kept me watching were the people. Makenna, Kendall and the students who entered the cooking school one way and left forever changed.

It was right then and there I told my parents, “I’ll get there one day”. Now, here I am.

There is so, SO much more I want to share but I think its much more suited for a Substack (if you’re at all interested). For now, all I can say is how immeasurably grateful I am. 🤍
