A captain recently reached out with a concern we hear more often on high-end yachts:

“The crew says the Wi-Fi is unreliable… but the system was upgraded not long ago.”

Rather than assume a hardware issue, we carried out a premium onboard Wi-Fi survey using certified Peplink analysis tools — mapping real signal conditions across the crew spaces.

The results showed excellent radio coverage and stable infrastructure.

The slowdown wasn’t coming from the network itself, but from peak usage patterns — streaming, updates, and off-duty bandwidth saturation.

With clear heat maps and usage insights, the captain had a factual picture of what was happening onboard — allowing informed decisions without unnecessary upgrades.

On modern yachts, connectivity is part of operational comfort. When concerns arise, precise diagnostics matter more than assumptions.

Sometimes the most valuable upgrade is visibility.
