are renowned for their savoury wood-fired soul food and bringing good ol’ comforting delights to the North-East. is their second city centre location offering a more casual approach to dining serving brunch, lunch, coffee & cake. As Summer fades away and Autumn creeps in this is your reminder that sweet treats have no season! Waffles, brownies and everything in-between can be devoured at on North Deeside Road. A takeaway hatch serving both hot and cold delights. Opening hours do vary so be sure to check prior to visiting.

From fishing boats to seaside surroundings the upstairs seating allows guests an opportunity to see it all. A popular location it can be especially busy during weekends or holiday season. But, if you are lucky, or fast, enough to grab the balcony table i’d highly recommend sitting there - a spot I never knew existed until recently! Alternatively, take advantage of nearby outdoor seating to maximise the viewpoint.

I can’t vouch for takeaway options (unless you include coffee?) however sit-in service, quality & presentation was very good.

Station-based brings all of the buzz associated with a transport hub whilst also maintaining a high-quality environment. The vibrant venue, opposite Dyce train station, offers covered outdoor seating alongside their recently refurbished dining space. Getting a table shouldn’t be a problem but parking might be so, bare that on mind when navigating the railway concourse.

serves only good vibes with their all-day breakfast, brunch & lunch menu.

The family run café serves a classic assortment of sweet and savoury dishes each with optional customisable extras. A walk-in policy negates pesky booking while encouraging passer-by foodies to visit. Located on the bustling, partly pedestrianised, Union Street is open six days and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The sweetest treat and a trend I am still very much obsessed with - Dubai chocolate!

have created numerous products inspired by the viral sensation and this one is a must try. Biscoff mixed with kunafa, as an alternative to pistachio, drizzled with white chocolate and loaded onto fresh strawberries. Each pot is made-to-order, fully customizable and contains a least 2 servings for £7.95.

P.s: If this is too sweet, grab an ice-cream or baked good from the cabinet - you won’t be disappointed!
