Station-based brings all of the buzz associated with a transport hub whilst also maintaining a high-quality environment. The vibrant venue, opposite Dyce train station, offers covered outdoor seating alongside their recently refurbished dining space. Getting a table shouldn’t be a problem but parking might be so, bare that on mind when navigating the railway concourse.

serves only good vibes with their all-day breakfast, brunch & lunch menu.

The family run café serves a classic assortment of sweet and savoury dishes each with optional customisable extras. A walk-in policy negates pesky booking while encouraging passer-by foodies to visit. Located on the bustling, partly pedestrianised, Union Street is open six days and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The sweetest treat and a trend I am still very much obsessed with - Dubai chocolate!

have created numerous products inspired by the viral sensation and this one is a must try. Biscoff mixed with kunafa, as an alternative to pistachio, drizzled with white chocolate and loaded onto fresh strawberries. Each pot is made-to-order, fully customizable and contains a least 2 servings for £7.95.

P.s: If this is too sweet, grab an ice-cream or baked good from the cabinet - you won’t be disappointed!

It’s fun, funky & even got a free book exchange however, it would appear is Rosemounts’ best kept secret.

The long-standing resident serves an array of lunchtime favourites alongside street-food inspired daily specials and their infamous loaded fries - which I have recently discovered are somewhat legendary!

Look out for the orange sign on Richmond Street and enjoy a deli-ghtful lunch or simply browse the book collection.

Rosemounts’ latest addition, .coffee, is the newest place for the finest espresso & speciality beverages.

From guest roasts to uniquely curated drinks their flavour profiles are unmatched. Seasonal specials, limited editions or anything new i’m here for it hence my order - I can confirm it was as delicious as it looks!

The relaxed atmosphere is created effortlessly by the background record playing and adds to the overall aesthetic & vibe. If you haven’t already add it to your list or even better take a visit this weekend.

Brunch at The Boat Inn!

The country charm of the is one of it’s many appealing characteristics. A rustic retreat in the heart of Aberdeenshire with fireside dining, riverside views and iconic motorized train operating above dining guests - if you know, you know! After a lengthy drive the pancakes were an absolute must and this flavour combination did not disappoint. The perfect ratio of fluffy pancakes to toppings and the ideal portion size. It was bliss.

Next time, i’m booking a room for a night or two to fully experience everything the has to offer. Any recommendations for a Royal Deeside staycation - drop them in the comments ⤵️

Every time I visit I get a real sense of community. The vibrant atmosphere with tables occupied by friendly faces, the sound of chatter spilling out as the queue forms and the rush to grab that last remaining seat just to be amongst it. A real treat for a city dweller like myself. Plus the food is pretty awesome.
