These free workshops are a great way to get creative, meet new people, and have a go at digital music production – no experience needed, just bring your ideas!

Youth Horizons Easter Programme 2025!

F-L-R are proud to announce our participation in collaboration with North East Scotland College for Aberdeen's Youth Horizons 2025! The City Centre Youth Partnerships (CCYP) is thrilled to announce the launch of its very first Easter Programme in 2025, aimed at young people aged 12-25.

The City Centre Youth Partnerships (CCYP) aim is to “increase opportunities and activities which will help toward improving health and well-being and divert young people from risky behaviours”. The Children's Services Board is the main sponsor of the CCYP.

An array of FREE activities are being offered to youngsters aged 12 to 25 over the Easter Holidays across the City, with F-L-R offering Beat Making, Music-Tech, Sound Design, Recording/Mixing and Song Writing Workshops in the NEScol Studio facilities, with the help of multiple 2nd year HND Sound Production & Music Students.

Vocal tracking for the gangs latest production 'Home' was done in studio a few weeks ago. We're currently building the rest of the track up and hope to have it released early in 2025.

Some exciting projects on the horizon for the new year, details to follow in due course 💪🏽

Out of the Blue by the Blaeberries is live on all major streaming services for download and streaming. 🎶❤️
Another musical journey completed. 👌🏽

Well done Sandy Mellis and Kalpa Tan for putting this song together 👏 composing lyrics and shaping phrasing to suit your melody. Choosing chords progressions and then laying down some characteristic vocals during our tracking sessions. Great times with many laughs along the way 🥰

Big shout out to Peter Third for being our studio multi-Instrumentalist on this Single. These projects couldn't happen without the support of local musicians!!

Looking forward to tomorrow evenings final Workshop for the tribe. We'll be focusing on tightening up individual vocal parts working on harmonies and finalising structure before our Studio Sessions kick off to track 'Home' which you'll be hearing in your lug holes in due course.
