Never thought this tune would see the light of day after making this well over 2 years ago, massive shout-out to the main man for giving it a home 🙏

ec2a has literally been a bucket list label for me to release on, so many of my favourite producers have released on there, so I'm unbelievably honoured to be part of this huge compilation, every tune is an absolute slammer 👊

WE TOOK OVER FABRIC 🤯

Finally had time to let the dust settle and reflect on what happened... Our little Welsh label took over not one, but TWO rooms in arguably the most iconic nightclub in the UK!!

Honestly, it was an absolute dream come true to play at still can't quite get my head around it and don't think I ever will 🤣... and the fact that we had both rooms busy till close is even more mental! All the DJ's absolutely smashed it, some serious tunes knocking about till close 💣

This year just keeps going from strength to strength, and I'm unbelievably excited for what's next on the horizon 🌅

I'M PLAYING IN FABRIC 🤯

Can't believe I'm writing this, but I'm playing next Sunday!!!

Back when we were teenagers, we'd throw underage raves at various places in my hometown (long live Magnitude 🤣🤣) which kick started my love and passion for DJ'ing.. 16 years later, that once young boy from Abergavenny, is now going to be playing in one of the most iconic clubs in the world 😭

Fabric is such a legendary venue that's been a cornerstone of London's music scene for decades, it's truly a dream come true. The energy, the history, the crowd – Every DJ aspires to play there at some point in their career, a massive bucket list moment for me 🙏

Beyond Grateful for this opportunity to be a part of it all, and better yet... THE FULL RAREBIT CREW ARE TAKING IT OVER! ❤️

Don't think it will ever quite sink in, but all I know is we are absolutely HAVING IT 👊

WE'RE GOING TO IBIZA 🎶🌅

Absolutely buzzing to get back to my favourite place on earth... And the fact that our little record label from Wales is hosting room 2 for two dates, in one of the islands best super clubs, is absolutely mental! ❤️

10 years ago this year I stepped foot on the island to do my first ever season... I was absolutely skint 24/7, barely ate, barley slept... But wouldn't not have changed a single thing 🤣 I was absolutely hooked, and fell in love with that magical place ❤️

Fast forward 4 years and I'd just experienced the most unforgettable (and completely forgettable 🤣) summers of my life and always dreamt that one day, my name would be on one of those billboards... My younger self would be extremely proud ❤️

Joey’s Story

The 25 year old house and techno DJ, is best known for his energetic, and groovy bass lines. He takes inspiration from the likes of Toman, Seb Zito, Rich NXT, Chris Stussy to name a few. He started like us all in his bedroom... but has progressed very quickly in the DJ world, with very successful seasons in ibiza DJ’ing all around the island, playing at villa parties in the hills, to packed out crowds in Sankeys Ibiza and Eden.

He hold’s residencies with Shangri-la and Groove in South Wales, and Secret Sessions in London and Ibiza.

He's played alongside and supported DJ's such as Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Ben Sterling, George Smeddles, Yousef, Skream, Shadow Child, Senzala, Eli Brown, Mason Maynard, Sidney Charles & Santé, Claptone, Latmun, Detlef, Secondcity, Mark Knight, Jasper James, Danny Howard, The Shape Shifters.

Joey has now progressed into the production side of music, developing his own, unique signature sound, ready to release plenty of fresh music in 2020.
