Some people see “just a van” but I see the years and years it took me to get here. People ask me how I afforded it and well if that’s you, I’ve just put a YouTube video out about exactly that, maybe it’s a bit personal but we need to be soft and personal right now in a world that’s so greedy and out to get us. The safe space where I can actually breathe because I feel so calm in here ✨

A place where I can hear my thoughts and feel so productive but also have the ability to relax, it’s like the room of requirement 🤍

Basically if you want to live in a van you won’t have to work loads because it’s pretty cheap 🤌🏼

Van Tour 🎉 finally after a a few years of having this van! (I know most people film and put out a van tour in the first month of finishing their van), but after a few years I can talk about what I love and what’s annoying about my van conversion! Just a little scrapbook of Van Life Summer Essentials 🌿 because I forgot that I can post things other than reels and this was quite a fun creative process to put together!
✨ (Spoiler: it’s not material possessions it’s mostly time, sunshine and friends) ✨
Free time is the most important one for me, I know not everyone has a lot of this, I’ve managed to find low cost ways of living to make it possible but remember that it comes with sacrifices! I’ve just started reading again (I go embarrassing amounts of time between books) I’m currently reading the alchemist but the one in the picture is about how to survive if zombies took over because I happen to have a picture of me reading it 🤭 binoculars, or replace with any hobby related item but I just find it a fun thing to have and take on walks to make life a bit more interesting and natural sun cream because the other day it was windy and cold so I forgot about sun cream and now I have a blister on my nose and on my scalp (thanks to having naturally blonde hair) 🫠. Also I fell asleep on the beach the other day and woke up as the tide was coming in and realised how glad I am to have a waterproof bag 😆 but the most important of them all, trusty friends who make you laugh and share your hobbies. Every day I feel lucky that I have people like this in my life 🤍 other things I should have mentioned but am only now remembering now I’m writing this: a camera to capture your favourite moments, clothes that you feel comfy in and make you feel like you :) I’m looking out the window right now and its really gloomy, hoping this little summery post will be like my internet sun dance and the sun might come out soon (please) because that’s a summer essential too obviously ☀️

Van Life and “Instagram van life” are two very different things haha, so let’s talk about it! I do try to portray a very realistic view of van life here, it’s not usually perfect and it’s always pretty rough around the edges, but I don’t think there is a way of life that isn’t those things. Let me know if you agree with these and most importantly, if you have anything to add, because I had brain fart at the end and I didn’t know what I was writing anymore 😇 it’s been a long old time since I posted a carousel because I forgot they existed! So I spent an entire day today making a few of them, let me know what you think of this format :) thanks so much everyone x
