I know some people haven’t been able to bring themselves to watch this documentary because it feels too emotional, and I truly understand that. “Emotional” often gets reduced to meaning sadness, but emotion is so much bigger than that. Emotion can be hope. It can be challenging, inspiring, thoughtful, exciting. It can be fun. There is laughter too. Yes, there are moments that are hard, but above the sadness lives all of those other feelings, and they matter just as much. This film isn’t here to weigh you down, it’s here to open hearts, spark conversation, and remind us of our shared humanity. It really is worth watching. And if you truly can’t watch it, please share it. Awareness is such a huge part of this film, and sometimes simply helping the story reach someone else is just as powerful.

Today is a really big day 💜

I’m so proud to share Never Give Up, a 45-minute documentary following Cheryl’s journey through grief, SUDEP and the Welsh Three Peaks. This film is raw, honest and full of heart.

Please get comfy. Stream it to your TV if you can. Watch it on any device, but if possible wear headphones. This deserves to be heard with quality.

I’m incredibly proud of this documentary. It’s without doubt one of the most professional pieces of film I’ve ever made. Cheryl’s strength and courage shine through every moment.

Thank you for watching and for supporting stories like this 💜

As always, if you’d like to continue the support, please donate what you can

My incredible wife is taking part in the Welsh Three Peaks challenge on the 6th of September in memory of her brother, my brother in law, Martin, who sadly lost his life ten years ago to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death In Epilepsy) He was only 37 years old.

She and a great team of ladies from the Bethan Davies Fitness, Aberystwyth (who have already climed the national and yorkshire three peaks in Martin's memory will make their final three climbs in less than two weeks and it has been my pleasure to document Cheryl's journey through this in the medium I love, Film.

Here is the trailer for the documentary!

It's getting warmer so I thought I would dust off the props and get out and about again. Quick test flight over the bustling Industrial Estate!

Was really great to get out again before the rubbish weather sets in for winter. Went over to this little spot in Cwm Rheidol with Altitude Adventures. It was a great day for capturing awesome footage but... for some.... they had to get wet and rescue a drone that went for a swim. He still managed to get some great shots before disaster happened! But heres my video of the day!

With all these red alerts for the storm and my phone beeping like it's trying to join a boyband, I thought it was the perfect time to unveil my John Lewis-inspired Christmas advert for 2024!

This masterpiece (filmed entirely with aerial shots of Aberystwyth) has it all: moody skies, windswept hills, and a lead actor whose nostalgic glances at his drone are matched only by his apparent disbelief at how old he’s looking. Seriously, my acting range goes from “wistful” to “did I leave the oven on?” in about three seconds flat.

So pull up a chair, grab a blanket, and let the heartwarming magic of Me, a Drone, and the Spirit of Christmas fill your screens. WARNING: Contains 90% more dramatic slow-motion than necessary.

Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the cinematic glory of this wonderful place we call home.

What's this screenshot all about, you ask? Oh, just me preparing to rival John Lewis with my own festive masterpiece. Expect heartwarming moments, questionable lighting, and acting so wooden it could double as a Christmas tree. Footage I've lovingly captured this year will be showcased—Oscar buzz not guaranteed, but you're guaranteed a laugh (mostly at me). Stay tuned!

After countless cups of coffee, I've finally finished editing my latest film! 🎥✨ Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed overthinking every frame. Feedback welcome... but only if it's 5 stars. ⭐️😉
