Fragrances I wore last week ✨
The second week of June felt like a week of complete immersion in perfume.
Esxence may be over, but the inspiration certainly isn’t. I spent several days in Lille with Les Eaux Primordiales, exploring Le Domaine Primordial and spending time surrounded by the people, ingredients and ideas that bring fragrances to life. Experiences like that always leave me wanting to wear more perfume, pay closer attention to composition, and rediscover bottles that might otherwise have been overlooked on my shelves.
These are the perfumes that shaped part of my week:
✨ Les Eaux Primordiales Crocus Supercritique – luminous saffron handled with remarkable restraint. Textural, modern and mesmerisingly unique.
✨ Layering: Moonkissed Rhapsody by Ode Ona + Être Toi by Sisology – delicate florals, soft peach and clean musks creating something that feels effortlessly romantic
✨ Les Bains Guerbois 1979 New Wave – crisp, energetic and undeniably cool. A scent that has long been on my wishlist and will be having its moment on my feed soon...
✨ Layering: Tom Ford Taormina Orange + You Or Someone Like You by Etat Libre d’Orange – sparkling citrus wrapped in fresh mint and greenery. Bright, uplifting and exactly what I want to wear when summer starts making an appearance.
✨ Sisology Deep Down – introspective, comforting and beautifully composed. One of those fragrances that captures so many levels of emotion
✨ Layering: Abel Cyan Nori + Abel Laundry Day – salty air meeting freshly laundered cotton. Clean fragrance done properly, with enough character to keep it interesting.
✨ Xerjoff Perseveranza – rich, expressive and unmistakably Xerjoff. A fragrance that feels larger than life without sacrificing elegance.
✨ Layering: Gris Charnel by BDK Parfums + 204 Velvet Fig by Bon Parfumeur – creamy woods, velvety fig and soft spices blending together seamlessly.
Which of these would you be most curious to try?
And perhaps more importantly, what did your week smell like? ✨
