CANET Show

I told you a while a go that it was going to be a busy few months for Canet so obviously I decided to make myself more busier and next Tuesday (19th) 1-3pm I will be co-presenting a one off summer edition of Canet with Sunday Showtime Presenter Chris Davies. We will going back to the 90s and talking all things culture from, in my opinion, one of the best decades. This show is a bit of an experiment ahead of some future plans and from what I can tell it's going to be a lot of fun!

Plans for show number 14 on Tuesday 5th August:
I have recently been trying to sort things out and I found some books that I still haven't read so I will be taking about books again and asking you for some books recommendations. If you have any now I would love to hear them. I will read most things. Also I knew of a person who has done work in the North East and I was convinced that he was from up here too. I was stunned when I found out he isn't. Also maybe I will give you a clue as to what the show in October is if your good. See you on Tuesday 3-5pm To make it easier for you here is the website

Just over a week to go until the next show (July 1st) and I have half a show still to plan!
I can tell you though that I have found a topic that I haven't spoke about before and the cultural person I was supposed to talk about last time until I booted him out will be discussed. Hopefully I will get this plan finished before the show! I've spent way too long thinking about Seaweed! Yes you read that right! Seaweed. I will explain that on the show

Today Canet is officially 1 year old! Here are the pictures from Canet's party yesterday. As you can see from the photos I bought some birthday donuts as I thought a cake would be a bit too much. I wasn't allowed to light the candle in the studio due to it being a fire hazard (I would have knocked it over) so I planned to light it when I got home. On the way home though the donut accidentally fell into my mouth so birthday pancakes came to the rescue! Thanks again for all the support you have gave Canet over the last year. It really means a lot to me to have you here and I am so looking forward to start the next chapter of Canet with you. :) x

That show was a lot of fun! Thank you so much for listening. Also thank you for helping get Canet to a year. Even by just listening you help give Canet a purpose and I am very grateful for that. I did take pictures today and they will be up tomorrow. Thank you so much for today and here's hoping that this next year of Canet will be just as good!

Hi. Just a reminder that there will be no show next week but planning is well underway for Canets first anniversary in June (and also the show in October is shaping up nicely too) which will be in the style of the school disco's I remember going to. Also because it is the first anniversary of course there would be a lookback over the last year and we have covered quite a lot! I had forgot about some things we had done!
