The festive charity radio station is run by volunteers from our make-shift studio in Amersham, England and many of our presenters are children and young people. Something as simple as being able to see properly can transform a child’s world. Poor eyesight can easily go unnoticed, but it often leads to children struggling at school, being labelled as “disruptive” or “slow,” and eventually dropping out. For children already at risk of gangs and street life, this adds yet another barrier to their future.

Most families we serve cannot afford the cost of an eye exam, let alone glasses. That’s why these checks are so necessary. When a child can finally read the board at school, join in activities with confidence, and see the world clearly, it opens up opportunities and restores hope.

We are committed to helping every child not just survive, but thrive. Something as small as an eye test and a pair of glasses can change a child’s future.

It's incredible what a donation of just £30 will do. Here in Guatemala, so many of the children we work with suffer from parasites, due to limited access to clean drinking water. A company here manufactures clay filters that cost only £30 and provides a family with clean, parasite-free drinking water for TWO YEARS! Why not help us support more families?

Some of the team were out last night in La Terminal donating supplies to the families affected by the fire two weeks ago.
