My author asked do you plan and rough out the spreads. “Nope! I read your chapter, then the image pops into my twisted brain, and then I draw, ink and colour”. I've done a few this past week. If you want to see more let me know. The book will raise money for Tenovus and will be launched at the Llandeilo in 2026.

All drawn by a human. Plus I teach children all my secrets and how to draw cartoons.

I have been a professional graphic designer and cartoon illustrator since 1988. Having worked in advertising, print, and publishing, I decided to work as a freelance graphic artist and illustrator in 2006. I have enjoyed illustrating cartoons for the author Anne Signol since 1989, producing 8 books....

Big book project underway. Doodle noodles for a while.

Summer School Project for Ysgol y Bedol
During summer the children designed poster boards for our healthy living project. Learning about 5-a-day and colour coding. From the children's ideas I created some illustrations.

The children then painted the designs on marine plywood to display in the corridor. I'm excited to drop them off at the school on Monday now that they're finished.

I've added an extra black line to make their paintwork pop. The design sits next to a finished A1 painted board.

The children at the home educators' Cartoon Club enjoyed learning to draw the characters that I illustrated. I wrote and illustrated the book for to raise funds for their counselling service.
