ITV EARLY EVENING NEWS
6th April
If you tried to watch this news programme you might be wondering why it wasn't on!
All the regions feed into ITV's playout provider, Red Bee, in Shepherds Bush, London, and from there each regional version and the national news is distributed to the appropriate transmitters and satellite transponders. (The BBC is more or less the same.) It seems Red Bee have had a major crash of their system. Some regions had the news programme, but most did not.

Illegal streaming services across the UK are becoming increasingly popular, which is leading to more pressure on authorities to clamp down on them.

Busy day today in the New Forest fitting Starlink and an Access point for one of our customers. He was only getting about 30Mbps through BT. He is now getting over 300Mbps with the Starlink and the Access point is giving him good Wi-Fi coverage around the other side of the House. He was very happy.

For all you people out there using dodgy Firesticks!

Using illegal streaming sticks comes with significant risks, particularly the threat of being hacked or scammed.

We are still out and about doing our usual Aerial and Satellite work on a daily basis, but alot of our work now is internet based. We can wire Cat5e/Cat6 cable, fit internet Access Points to weak Wi-Fi places in the home. We also fit Starlink internet for those people out in the country side with very poor reception. This has turned out to be a great service. Please spread the word or if anyone would like a no obligation quote please feel free to get in touch.

Couldn't fault the work of Stuart. Hopefully I won't need any other work done, but if I do then I will definitely get in touch with SMT again.

I got in contact with Stuart on Tuesday night. He was out to do the job on Thursday afternoon. He installed a European satellite dish for me. He was polite, friendly and clearly knows his job. What I especially liked about him was the fact that he is obviously a very caring guy. We had a good chat about the future of satellite telly and we both agreed that satellite is a very reliable service and that people will be left out without it. I'd highly recommend Stuart, not just for his speedy response, but also for his excellent work and for his friendly approach. The installation wasn't cheap, but it wasn't the most expensive either. Most of all it wasn't a rip off! You get what you pay for and paying for Stuart is worth every penny.
