Kristen Sweet has been in again recently after quite a break. Bouncing back with a kick ass track call 'In the Half Light'. A moody song about the mystery associated with day break and nightfall. Written and demo'd last week Kristen took a few days to learn the song then came back to record her final vocals and brought Megan, a highly talented young backing vocalist to add a bit of extra zing. A great way to kick back into the songwriting game. Sure this will be out soon on SoundCloud.

Superb debut original song from Matilda Pratt. This song has a story - in fact it has many stories but mainly only we know those! It has ticked many boxes though and we hope it's enjoyed because it was a pleasure to make. Well done Matilda.

Divergent thinking
In psychology, the ability to think creatively is a product of “divergent thinking.” That’s a term that refers to one’s knack for exploring several possible ideas or answers in the processing of information. As we know, thinking creatively often means thinking, saying, doing, and writing things that are unexpected. Certainly to be a songwriter requires it.

Creativity comes from divergent thinking, and the stresses of work and family can cause it to disappear and leave you with the dreaded songwriter’s block.
