Itā€™s always such good fun making a film with these guys! Thereā€™s a creative energy that is so rewarding and keeps you coming back for more. This project weā€™re working is genuinely going to resonate with so many people, I think. Weā€™ve all had to tap into what our real selves want to craft this story and itā€™s been a privilege to see how itā€™s developed! Everyone has worked so hard and while theres a fair bit to go, Iā€™ve got nothing but confidence in getting it done.

ā€¼ļøSUPPORT NEEDEDā€¼ļø

Our 2026 Youth Film Project, ā€˜Now Is All There Isā€™, has entered the Production stage! Weā€™ve been filming around Glasgow with our participants over the last few weeks and have more film shoots to go over the rest of summer and autumn! This yearā€™s project will premiere in early 2027 and weā€™re hoping to run multiple screenings like we did for ā€˜Piece of Mindā€™. Find the synopsis below:

Burnt out, stressed out, and nearly out of time, two students risk unravelling a friendship as each struggles to ā€œdo what needs to be doneā€ to guarantee they make it across the right line to success.

This yearā€™s project is a character study of two strong-willed friends, whose uncompromising values have quietly sown distrust in their relationship. In the run-up to a pivotal moment for their future careers, the foundation of their friendship is more unsettled than they realise. The film explores questions such as ā€œwhen is it right to take responsibility for another person?ā€, and ā€œat what point does it become irresponsible for us to do so?ā€

We are reaching out to ask our supporters to help us reach our goal of Ā£1000 to fund a film screening in Screen 1 of the Glasgow Film Theatre for ā€˜Now Is All There Isā€™.

We would love to see you all there again next year and show you the film weā€™ve all been working on this year. Your support goes a long way to making that happen and we appreciate any amount that people can donate.

We had a fantastic time filming our most recent scene for our 2026 filmmaking project. We were filming by the Clyde and had some interesting weather developments.

Despite the mixed weather conditions, everyone did brilliantly! Really high energy and high positivity.

Weā€™ve got some interesting things coming up to share in relation to this project, so stay tuned for that!
