We’re proud to share that our sponsored bike ride raised a grand total of £2,600! 🚴‍♀️

This will be split equally between our three chosen charities: Greenfingers Charity, Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society, and Aldingbourne Trust. Each of these organisations does truly remarkable work, and by raising awareness and funds, they can continue the brilliant impact they have in our communities.

🗨️“A massive thank you to our sponsors, riders, and volunteers! Your support for the Farplants charity bike ride around Goodwood Motor circuit was incredible, and you've helped us raise a fantastic amount for three great causes,” said David Salisbury, Director of Farplants Sales. “We are so grateful for all the generosity and commitment and really hope to do it again next year.”

Today is the last day of Glee Birmingham Show, and what a fantastic show it's been!

One of our favourite parts was helping to create a welcoming atmosphere in the GIMA (Garden Industry Manufacturers'​ Association) Lounge with our plants.

If you visited the GIMA Lounge, we hope you enjoyed the ambiance created by their floral displays.

We've truly enjoyed our time at the NEC; meeting so many of our valued customers and introducing ourselves to some new ones, too.

We're already looking forward to next year!

🥇 Well actually our Euphorbia Walberton’s Little Treasure did!!

Shortlisted earlier today, our neat and uniquely coloured euphorbia with its ginger tips and duckling 🐥 yellow flowers in spring, took 1st place on the podium at Glee Birmingham Show.

Massive congratulations to our growers and horticulturalists at Walberton Nursery for their hard work over the years.

Thank you to all the garden centres now stocking it and to all the consumers enjoying it in their gardens! You’ve got an Award Winner 🏅

And... We're all set up at Glee Birmingham

David Salisbury and Zoe Bruce powered through the set-up at the NEC Birmingham today. They’re shattered, but the stand looks great!

You can find The Farplants Group in the Greenheart area, but we've also got our plants dotted around the rest of the show too! Plants for Awards, Plants for Michael Perry's Mr Plant Geek stand, and we've supplied plants for the GIMA (Garden Industry Manufacturers'​ Association) Lounge.

The show kicks off tomorrow; come and meet the team - David and Zoe will be joined by Bianca, fresh from her holiday, and another member of the sales team. We can't wait to see you there - we're next to the refreshment area.

Our crop walks have been a little Rainier this week, but the stunning display of colour and foliage at the nurseries has more than made up for it. 🌸🍃

We always enjoy catching up on the latest industry news in HortWeek – and it’s especially lovely to see Farplants mentioned in their recent magazine! 🌿

📌 First up, Michael Perry gave insight into new plants, including Dianthus IT Girl – a variety with "an awesome scent and perennial reliability". Available from Farplants in June next year, it will be featured in our Limited Extras Catalogue 2026 which is out later this year.

📌 We are looking forward to Glee Birmingham Show next week, joining an exciting group of exhibitors. We can’t wait to connect with our industry peers there. Find us in the Green Heart area at stand GH65.

📌 And finally, the spotlight was on Nemesia Wisley Vanilla – with Steve Carter, Martine Tellwright, and FLEURIE NURSERY LIMITED recognised for its long-standing success. Selling around 100,000 units a year thanks to its "knockout fragrance, flower size, and floral performance, it’s truly a summer favourite". Since its introduction in 2004, Fleurie Nursery has grown more than 1.75 million units in 1L and 9cm pots. 🌸
