At Soundz Fishy we aren’t ones to blow our own trumpet (much!) but the studio technicians that have used it LOVE FlexSurface! 🎺 😎

The console is so easy to build, set up, configure and re-arrange when needed, especially when combined with our height-adjustable legs.

🔥 Technicians can reconfigure the console to a mixer’s preference in a matter of minutes

🔥 Channel strips are a doddle to take out and move around

🔥 Modules can be easily removed from buckets and changed out

🔥 Cable management has been really well thought out, giving easy access to cables, switches and connectors and keeping them tidy

🔥 It’s easy to get underneath the console with rise-fall legs on maximum height

🔥 It’s super easy to put together out of the box in the first place

Phew! Well, that’s enough trumpet-blowing for one day! 🥳

Day 2 of our 5 Days of Flex and in this video you can see how the buckets, modules and channel strips of the Avid S6 can be moved around to personalise the set-up to the individual user.

Mixers have told us that the first few hours or days of a new job in a different studio are often slower while getting familiar with the layout of the console.

With FlexSurface their preferred layout can be quickly and easily configured, so there is no fighting muscle memory and they can hit the ground running at each stage of the mixing process.
